Mum and Dad magpies get some insects under mulch – and the camera freezes...Australian birds

This was shortly after Mum got that big centipede yesterday. That video was long enough without this. At 3:30 he gets something from under the mulch, hurls it and then gets it from over by the camera. I've gone through that a frame at a time and I think it's a spider. It's all Dad until Mum flies past at 4:32 and she comes for a complain and some food shortly afterwards. Well...I say “some food”...I don't think she scores anything under the mulch. But she does complain! I'm not sure if the camera glitch will recur or if it's done. I'm running on blind optimism hoping it was a glitch in the force and that all will be well next time. There have been studies done in asylums and apparently the optimists are off with the fairies and the pessimists are actually realists.
