Cessna 172L Skyhawk & Diamond DA40 at Lakewood Airport (N12)

A 1971 Cessna 172L Skyhawk (N4287Q) landing on Runway 24 at Lakewood Airport (N12) in New Jersey after a flight from Ocean County (MJX) in Toms River followed by taxi to the parking area on the ramp during my short visit this afternoon on a breezy 🌬️ day. A 2003 Diamond DA40 (N285DS) then departs after doing a run-up check for a flight towards the coast 🏖️. What I saw here next was just completely unexpected. Safe flying to the pilot!!
