One Mistake and the Swarm is LOST

Why don’t I just shake the swarm into the hive? 🐝 Because if I did, there’s a real chance the entire swarm could fly away. 🐝 That’s why I always find the queen first and cage her for three days. 🐝It gives the colony time to settle… and stops them from absconding. 🐝 Trust me, once you’ve seen a swarm vanish into the sky, you don’t skip this step. __ © @hinterlandbees
