#projectmotorracing Ranked Race online - Round 4 Event: Porsche 964 Classic Car: Porsche 911 Carrera Cup (964) Track: Nürburgring - Grand Prix This is the fourth round of the Porsche 964 Classic Event which takes place at Nürburgring Grand Prix Circuit. It becomes tricky to tune my old school Porsche 911 during Qualifying session since there is little aero-assisted tools, various suspension settings or gear ratio settings to utilize. Then there are further complications to this matter when also considering the layout of Nürburgring Grand Prix track, which has a variety of corners plus a long straight and frequent elevation changes throughout. I aimed to improve the handling of the 911 through medium- and high-speed bends, and also attempt to not sacrifice much straight line top speed in the process. The race started off slow for me, but luckily without any excess drama. A small group of drivers were able to set a quick pace and separate themselves from the rest of the field. Unfortunately I made some mistakes that cost me positions. I managed to settle in and get into interesting position battles midway through this race. But I eventually committed more errors that led to even more setbacks. 🤦‍♂️
