With Just Old Packaging, Eggplants Grow Loaded With Fruit – This Is the Secret! If you have old packaging at home, don’t throw it away — reusing it to grow plants is an amazing idea 🌱. Simply use scissors to cut drainage holes around the sides of the packaging, and it’s ready to use. The most important factors are the growing medium and the timing of flower pollination. Mix soil with cow manure or chicken manure, add rice husks, and a small amount of lime, then let the mixture sit for 7–15 days to decompose properly. When the plant starts flowering, add more homemade organic fertilizer made from kitchen waste to keep the plant healthy and improve fruit production. After that, hand-pollinate by transferring pollen from the male flower to the female flower to increase the fruit-setting rate. Water the plant every 2–3 days, keeping the soil evenly moist, and you’ll see the eggplant produce fruit continuously, covering the entire plant.
