Faisalabad, Pakistan We spent 24 hours eating our way through Faisalabad — and the generosity we experienced left us speechless. From the historic Ghanta Ghar markets to breakfast the next morning, Pakistan’s hospitality showed up in the best way. This video continues our food tour through Faisalabad and picks up where part 1 left off. Together, both videos capture a full 24 hours of eating, exploring, and sharing meals across the city with friends. Guided by my friend Shamroz and a close group of friends, we started in the heart of Faisalabad at Ghanta Ghar (Clock Tower), built in 1903 and surrounded by eight historic markets that form the city’s famous bazaar. Walking through the markets, we stopped at food stalls that have been run by the same families for decades — and more than once, vendors refused to let us pay. Throughout the day, we tried fried fish, falooda, and lassi, before heading to Lyallpur Galleria, Faisalabad’s modern shopping mall, where we grabbed chicken from a popular fast food spot. Dinner ended up being one of the best meals of the day, even after hours of eating. The next morning, before heading back to Lahore, we sat down for a traditional breakfast of nihari, with additional dishes like paye, halwa, and puri generously offered to us.
