Behrooz Ghamari is an Iranian-born American historian, sociologist, & professor, known for his work on the Iranian revolution & its aftermath. He is a fellow at the Center for Place, Culture, & Politics at the CUNY Graduate Center & is affiliated w/ the Institute of Iranian Studies at the University of Toronto. Formerly, he was Professor & Chair of the Department of Near Eastern Studies & Director of the Center for Iran & Persian Gulf Studies at Princeton University.
