Signal on the left: 3.5 pairs of Federal Signal 8 inch lights with WCH 1st Gen LEDs and 1 Federal Signal 8 inch light with a WCH 2nd Gen LED.
Signal on the right: 2.5 pairs of Federal Signal 8 inch lights with WCH 1st Gen LEDs, a WRRS 8 inch light with a WCH 1st Gen LED, and a Federal Signal mechanical bell.
After catching the HMCR at Monroe Street #2, I decided to try and catch them one final time at this crossing on Holmes Avenue. Thankfully, I was just barely able to get my camera's tripod thrown down and set-up in time for the crossing to activate, and here we see the HMCR at my tenth and final crossing of the day, pulling the locomotives out of the north end of their yard after cutting-off from the seven hoppers they'd brought north, and then shoving back into the yard to tie down for the day.
Thankfully, absolutely nothing has changed to this absolutely classic L&N install since I last filmed it. I'm especially glad to see that the Federal Signal mechanical bell is still going strong here, especially since it's the only remaining one in the northern half of Alabama these days. Interestingly, the FS bell here is actually mounted on a Modern Industries base, which I can't say I'd ever noticed on any other FS bells on this style of cantilever before.
