Last week, we gave it a fresh coat of paint, and this week we tackle the toughest job of all: refitting the massive tank tracks by hand…. And forklift It took a full day of heavy lifting, teamwork, and determination, but once the tracks were finally on, Mad Max started almost first try and drove perfectly around the farmyard. This is the moment we’ve been waiting for — the Centurion returns to life and rolls again for the first time since restoration began. It will now spend the winter safely undercover where in between other projects we can continue working on it.
