The Washington Post and Fox News Digital report that an A-10 Warthog attack plane was also hit by incoming fire. The Post report says the A-10 pilot was able to fly the damaged plane to Kuwaiti airspace before he ejected and was safely rescued. The New York Times reports that the plane crashed in the Persian Gulf before the pilot was rescued.
