Here on the Mama Doctor Jones channel, I have often complained about the sorry state of education about sex and puberty in the United States - including the video I, myself, saw in small-town Texas back in the 1990s. It always seemed more focused on preventing sin and instilling shame than teaching biology. So today, we’re headed to Europe to see how they teach kids all about sex, menstruation, pregnancy, etc. It is truly shocking to my American eyes - even after becoming a literal doctor in this field and moving to New Zealand.
