Here they are⤵ Just FYI, I used to be the MASTER of gaining and losing the same 10-20lbs every year…so these tips are coming from someone who has FINALLY cracked the code to being able to maintain my physique year-round, no matter the holiday, social party, or life event. Use what’s helpful for you…scrap what doesn’t. But ultimately, give yourself grace for not being perfect (because you won’t ever be sister!) 1. I skip the holiday lattes. I’ve had ONE this season. But my coffee order is always the same, black coffee with a splash of almond milk, and 1 packet of stevia. Saves me at least 400 calories and a whole day’s worth of sugar. 2. I focus on SOME kind of movement every day. I stay in MOMENTUM. I never want to let too many days go by without working out or else, it’s SO much harder to get back in the game. 3. BUT… I do REST when I need it, like when I’m sick or am just burnt out from life. I don’t see it as me “falling off track,” I see it as self-care and listening to my body. I trust myself to get back on track when I’m ready for it. 4. I get 8 hours of sleep! I’m a stickler about this. I’ve noticed when I don’t get sleep, I crave sugar more and less likely to skip a workout cuz I’m tired. 5. I make 90% of my meals from home. I believe food is medicine. We can heal all of the modern day diseases with our food. 6. Strength training!!! More muscle on the body = metabolic flexibility. Meaning… I can eat almost “anything” without it totally impacting me. More muscle = more calorie burn = can eat more food without it resulting in weight gain. And if you’re new here, I’m Jenny!
