She’s getting stronger each day and has finally started eating on her own, something we’ve been hoping for and working toward. If she keeps this up, we are optimistic that her feeding tube can be removed next week. Her surgical site is healing incredibly well, but she will remain hospitalized a little longer while we make sure she is fully stable and able to maintain her nutrition independently.
