Hi friends, welcome back to a special episode of Tiffy Cooks! Today, we are turning my home into a mini cafe to show appreciation for 22 of my favorite people. I have been obsessed with matcha lately,y and the cold weather had me feeling like baking something, so my mom and I got together and designed a menu with delicious drinks, baked goods, and small bites. This mini cafe took us 3 days to prepare. On the first day, we tested all of the baking recipes. Baking has always intimidated me, but thankfully my mom is an amazing baker! We tested out a few butter shortbread cookies and cinnamon rolls. On the second day, we prepared all the syrups. I made strawberry, ginger, and lemon syrup. These are so useful to have in the fridge to spice up any drink of your choice. On the third day, we perfected all of the recipes! We ended up making cinnamon buns, matcha cookies, almond cookies, chocolate swirl cookies, tomago sando, chicken salad sandwich, pesto pasta salad, and creamy sesame chicken salad. We also made 5 different drinks, matcha latte with cold foam, strawberry matcha latte, lemon tonic, ginger tea, and matcha lemon tonic.
