AFTER LONG COVID, TDR IS........Back on the Trail! Through Blandford, Durweston, Bryanston and more.

THE DORSET RAMBLER IS BACK 🙂 ! After a long bout of illness, we are back out on the trail and it fills me with joy! Join me on this wonderful walk around the Blandford, Durweston and Bryanston area. Starting at Blandford, we follow the North Dorset Trailway, previously the Somerset and Dorset Joint Stock Railway line, to the Stourpaine and Durweston Halt, then walk through the lovely village of Durweston to finish with a walk through the grounds of Bryanston School and along the banks of the River Stour. Oh, and naturally there is a detour or two on the way, some lovely villages and woodlands, a church or two, and lots of interesting history. And a personal memory or two from my childhood as we walk 😀 Hope you enjoy!
