Cleveland Weather Forecast: Surge in spring temperatures arrives Thursday

Clouds and some fog stick around through the evening and overnight. Rain will also arrive after sunset and be around through the overnight hours. Temperatures will be steady/improving through the overnight hours. Rain will be around on Thursday, especially through the middle of the day. Temperatures away from the lakeshore will be well into the 50s. Even warmer air works in for Friday and Saturday. Friday will be drier overall with some PM sunshine breaking through and highs near 70. Once again, cooler near the lakeshore. Southwest winds increase for Saturday with gusts around 30 mph. That will get temperatures near 70 for most locations ahead of a cold front. The front moves through during the second half of the day with some rain/thunder. Cooler, but still above average for Sunday. Mainly sunny and highs in the 50s. still above average for the first half of the work/school week with highs back near 70, especially further south.
