8891 - Australian Trains by Raysha1811. Monday, 2 June 2025 at 10:26am. Gheringhap, Victoria. (1080p) Hi, welcome to Australian Trains by RaySha1811. I predominately film trains but have been known to point a camera at anything I find interesting. Cars, people etc. I record no matter where I am in Australia, so please enjoy and comment on my videos. Subscribe and hang about for a while as I have a ton of clips for you to enjoy. Gheringhap Loop in Victoria sees all SG trains that run between Melbourne and Adelaide (and beyond). It also has the BG line that runs from North Geelong through to Ballarat. It is not utilised as much as it used to be, but annually we see several V/Line Velocities pass through on their way to Ballrat for maintenence and I believe, to some extent, refurbishment. Today I saw maintenence transfer service 8891 with Velocity numbers 3VL34-3VL48 as they passed through towards Ballarat. This took a few minutes, as the drivers awaited permission to pass the signals. Most of the freight services I capture are running Standard Gauge, and a small few are Broad Gauge. The passenger services I get are predominantly Broad Gauge and a small few (The Overland, Great Southern etc) are standard gauge. Gauge specifications are listed below. Again, feel free to comment, like & subscribe but most of all, "keep train"ing. CFCLA = Chicago Freight Car Leasing Australia. GWA = Genesee & Wyoming Australia. JBRE = Journey Beyond Rail Expeditions. PacNat = Pacific National. SBR = Specialised Bulk Rail. SCT = Specialised Container Transport. SRHC = Seymour Railway Heritage Centre SSR = Southern Shorthaul Rail. TGE = Team Global Express BG = Broad Gauge (1600mm/5’ 3”) DG = Dual Gauge. SG = Standard Gauge (1435mm/4’ 8 1/2”) Regards, Raysha1811 #australiantrains #trains #railways #pacificnational #sct #ssr #jbre #qube #aurizon #tge #goldenplains #gheringhap #murgheboluc #inverleigh by #raysha1811
