Description

So today we brought one of our own horses to see the vet. We’ve been riding him fairly late, and our plans were to get going on him through the winter, but as we have learnt through life. It’s best to have our horses checked by our vet. Do flex & do an exam and if we need to do some X-rays So that if there is something going on with this horse or any of our horses in general that we can address whatever issues is happening and we can make a management plan and move forward knowing that we’re doing what’s best for the horse. We had also brought one of our client horses that had come in for training for a month, right away we knew there was something more going on to its behaviour than just being under trained And the owner had agreed in allowed us to bring their horse with us to go be examined by the vet as well Over the years we have learnt that behaviour can stem from pain response And over the last two years with how we have implemented this step into our client, Horse’s has really changed a lot of things for the horses that we get and that our clients and the horses while being It’s not that at the end of the day, we love to tell our clients that they need to vet their horse and spend a little bit more money, but it will help incredibly if there is some small changes that we can make with our vet on that horse and for that horse in that Owner in the future So for us, the benefits outweigh any of the cons
