A Rookie Solar Mistake… Fixed the Right Way ✅

Fault finding happens - even on well-planned jobs. On this install, we ran paired solar PV cables but forgot to identify the positive and negative conductors before termination. Rather than guessing, we used a wandering lead and a TIS 859 continuity tester to quickly trace polarity, confirm each run, and get everything back on track. The job was finished properly with printed heat-shrink sleeving so the issue doesn’t come back later. A simple reminder that good testing, clear identification, and the right tools save time and headaches on site.
