When I first saw this maker I thought it had Laffy Taffy mixes inside. How else would you get such vibrant colored ice cream. After reading the box I realized it was a make your own flavor ice cream, but I still wanted to try it. Boy was it messy. I bet the instructions should have said, put in half of the ice cream mix in. Being faithful to the instructions, I went all in! Besides the big mess, I had fun checking it out. The ice cream recipe was different than other makers like this and I thought it was rather tasty. My Laffy Taffy candy addition was more for my own benefit and less to actually eat with the ice cream because knew it would be hard as a rock!
