The Black Mold Asylum - Everyone Got Sick (No Inspections. No Help. Just death)

This abandoned former asylum and gothic nursing home in Trenton, New Jersey features long hallways filled with shadows and natural light shining through broken windows. The building has been vacant since 2005, and many items from past eras remain inside. Double wooden staircases, salon chairs, hydrotherapy tubs, and other equipment were left behind when the building closed. The property was originally built in the 19th century by a wealthy family who wanted proper care for their son, who had a mental disability. Their goal was to create a welcoming place that treated patients better than the state-run institutions of the time. The facility operated for over 150 years before closing due to lack of funding, which led to the building falling into disrepair. Years later, the building was purchased and repurposed as a retirement home for the elderly. This was its final attempt at continued use, but it ultimately failed as well.
