Green turtles entangled in refuse on Moreton Bay, Queensland, Australia.

This is a graphic video - however if that's what it takes to make people think before dumping their rubbish in the ocean so be it. Filmed at Moreton Banks (identified turtle and Dugong habitat) in the Moreton Bay Marine Park 11th November 2018. Both turtles appeared to have been dead for about one week. The incident was promptly investigated by QNPWS. You can see how easy it is for turtles to get entangled. A flipper just needs to enter a loop in the rope then as the turtle tries to swim away the line hitches and gets tighter and shorter as they panic and struggle. Drowning would soon follow.
