Description
After the video I started thinking about the hard candy shell so I did a Google search for the hard candy apple origin. They are supposed to have a candy shell. Sure enough, I think my apples turned out great! I'm not sure exactly how you're supposed to chew them, but once I did the flavor was great! There is a good reason this set is so rare. My guess is like other maker sets that are difficult to achieve the desired results were probably just thrown out. Parents would probably not keep trying to make the perfect candy apple. I did save my apples and will chip away at my clear coating! I do like the idea of a clear coating because when you bite into a candy apple and see it has issues, some times it is too late and you already started chewing it. In the least, I came up with a good way to preserve my apples :) All kidding aside, I had fun and I enjoy a good challenge.
The other news I mentioned in the video about the Super Duper 8000th video Extravaganza is exciting to start talking about. The video currently is about 1.5hrs and I'm still working on small issues. It is best I release that on a Saturday and after this video, the channel will be at.7,997. Which means I can only release three videos next week. Mon - Wed and Saturday. I have at least 10 videos done that I have to hold back and wait for this release. I did buy 4 dozen eggs and will start those sets ASAP to try and get all 9 in before Easter. I have only two candy videos this year and the rest are all egg decorating. What a time crunch I have landed myself in. I could possibly just release the 8000th video during the week and that would take some of the pressure off. We shall see!
