Description

“We love the future of our kids” In 1985, Greenpeace took on a mission unlike anything they had done before - to mass relocate the people of Rongelap in the Marshall Islands whose home was no longer safe as a result of the US government’s nuclear testing in the region. But this wasn’t a mission led by Greenpeace. It was the Marshallese leading the way with courage — and asking us to stand in solidarity. Forty years later, we returned to the Marshall Islands, once again to stand with them in solidarity - for nuclear justice, but also against climate change and the threat of deep sea mining. Jimwe I’m Maron - Justice. 💙✊ #ClimateJustice
