Curious turtle conducts close inspection of scuba divers

This green turtle lives in the waters of Akumal, Mexico. It was at the surface for a breath of air and then it made a descent to the reef. But before it picked a spot to eat or rest, it spied a group of scuba divers in the distance. It turned and made a beeline for the group, swimming right up to look each one in the eye. These two brothers watched as it made a close pass, almost bumping into one of them. As a responsible wildlife enthusiast, one of them tucked in his hands and arms to avoid unintentional contact. The turtle had a curious look and then it drifted off gracefully into the distance.
