Cooking For 1000 People

One thousand people. One cuisine. Three days. All to raise money for a good cause. With my mate Corey from Dahl Daddy’s, we took his family’s Burmese recipes and scaled them up to feed 1000 people. From learning authentic techniques in the studio to running a commercial kitchen at full speed, this was one of the biggest cooking challenges I’ve ever faced. Can we honour the flavours of Corey’s family recipes while pulling off the logistics of feeding 1000 mouths? Many live in remote villages or refugee camps where basic needs are unmet and opportunities are scarce. We are raising funds to deliver: • Medical Aid – Supplying essential medicines, first aid kits, and basic healthcare support in both Burma and Thai border camps. • Food Aid – Providing nutritious food parcels to families in urgent need, wherever they are. • School & Infrastructure Projects – Building safe, durable classrooms and community facilities that give children in Burma and in refugee camps a chance at education and stability.
