Villamor Air Base, Pasay City March 4, 2026 President Lee Jae Myung and Mrs. Kim Hea Kyung of the Republic of Korea (ROK) concluded their two-day State Visit to the Philippines, with departure honors held at Villamor Air Base in Pasay City on March 4, 2026. During his visit, the South Korean leader was welcomed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at Malacañan Palace, where they held a bilateral meeting to strengthen cooperation in defense, maritime security, economic development, and people-to-people exchanges. It culminated in the signing of 10 agreements across key sectors, including defense, nuclear energy and technology, further advancing the strategic partnership between the two countries.
