Description

Little Friarbird has a drink and you can hear the crows calling from the neighbouring magpie territory – they aren't allowed on this territory. Next comes a pair of White-throated honeyeaters. A Willie wagtail comes for a drink. The local male can be very protective of the birdbath but he's a bit worried about the movement overhead – the Pale headed rosellas had arrived and Willie decided to move on before the Rosellas came down. Lastly the Rosellas are joined by a Lewin's honeyeater who has a drink before taking off. The Lewin's, Little friarbird and White-throats are all honeyeaters. They don't exclusively eat nectar but they'll take it when they can get it. The unedited footage was 8 mins 12 secs. I love it when there is a succession of birds peacefully using the birdbath. That being said, I don't mind watching them disagreeing with each other... Cheers folks! If you'd like to support the channel you can buy me a coffee: https://buymeacoffee.com/mybackyardyt
