peel and cut 1kg raw mango in medium size pieces- keep aside.
heat up the pan
Add 2 tsp oil
Add 1/2 tsp saunf - 1/2 tsp fennel seeds, 1/2 tsp rai - mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp methi - fenugreek seeds, 1/2 tsp ajwain - carrom seeds,, 1/2 tsp kalonji - black cumin
Add a pinch of asafoetida powder (hing)
Add raw mango pieces and salt. Add 1/4 cup water and cook with closed lid till raw mango is half cooked for about 10 min
Add sugar 1 1/2 cup
Add 1 tbs Kashmiri red chilli powder (increase or decrease as per your taste
Cook on medium flame till jaggery melts & and you get thick consistency (once it cools down, it will further get thicken)
At last, switch off the flame and add 1 tsp black salt and mix well
