Keshav, raised in a traditional household, follows his father’s unusual beliefs before falling in love with Jaya, an educated young woman. They get married with some clever adjustments, but Jaya soon faces difficulties due to the lack of a toilet at home. Keshav tries temporary solutions, but Jaya firmly stands by her need for proper facilities and returns to her parents. Determined to bring change, Keshav begins efforts to build a toilet, facing resistance from his family and village leaders. With growing awareness and support, attitudes slowly begin to shift after a personal incident in his family. In the end, the village moves toward progress, and Keshav and Jaya reunite with a shared hope for a better future.
