Five years of Electric Rallying in the ADAC Opel e-Rally Cup

This video shows my best rally action clip of the Opel Corsa Rally Electric from the past five years. The ADAC Opel e-Rally Cup was established in 2021. Consisting of about eight rallies in Germany and the neighbouring countries, the one-make series offered the opportunity for youngsters to progress to the European Rally Championship as part of the Opel works effort in JERC / ERC4. The Opel Corsa Rally Electric has a power output of 100 kW and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. With the 50 kWh batteries it was often not possible to drive the complete distances in the rallies, so they used shortened itineraries. The sound module went through several iterations over the years, however none of those versions were able to excite the rally fans... Next year, the Corsa is set to be replaced by the Opel Mokka GSE Rally shown briefly at the end of the video. #rally #electric #opel #rallye #electriccar #opelcorsa
