Description
We attempted to make a massive pan of lasagna with construction tools.
I started by mixing 300 eggs into 50 pounds of flour using a mortar hoe.
Once I was done, I cut this enormous dough ball into 4 pieces.
We used a 14,000-pound asphalt roller to roll out the noodles- this worked perfect.
I needed a way to cut these noodles into strips, so I used an edger attachment on my Ventrac. It works like a giant pizza wheel.
So, here’s how we made our lasagna.
A layer of sauce in the bottom of the pan, noodles, more sauce- I used a concrete float to smooth it out; then, the spices: garlic, chopped onion, and red crushed pepper.
Next ground beef, Parmesan Ramono cheese, basil and chunks of mozzarella.
We repeated this process two times. Finally, I used my electric planer to grate fresh parmesan cheese on top.
I wrapped the pan in foil and loaded it into our brick oven.
One hour later- it smelled and tasted amazing.
Let us know what we should cook next on the jobsite. @hausplans
