Orcas Learned to Hunt on Ice

For a long time seals were safe resting on floating ice where large predators could not reach them. Orcas changed that. By lining up and swimming in perfect sync they generate powerful waves that break or tip the ice. The seal is swept into the water and the hunt begins instantly.
