Description

This is your 2 in 1 video (mainly because there is nothing wrong with #2 at this moment). 2 vintage betamax, the SL5200 was the first Hifi VCR and the SL2700 was the second HiFi model to hit the store shelves (about the same time that VHS Hifi appeared) and they loaded it with every conceivable feature at the time. Slo motion forward and reverse, double speed playback, noiseless slow and freeze. This one has a total of 6 motors, everything direct drive except for 1 small belt on the threading motor. Was a very expensive machine in its day. In Canada the SL5200 sold for 1299 in 1983 when it was introduced and the 2700 was 2199 when it arrived the next year.
