With Josep García absent and Billy Bolt out after hand surgery, Andrea Verona seized the moment, topping Day 1 with a blistering 10:26 on his KTM. Daniel Sanders showed his enduro roots are still sharp in second, while four-time Erzberg winner Manuel Lettenbichler rounded out the top three.
