Backcountry Stroll to Mt Kozzie on the Last Day of the Season | Winter 24', Day 18

G'day all! My 18th day of the season, and also my last day of the season (maybe) and i wanted to end it on a LITERAL high, so i decided to head out for a backcountry stroll to Mt Kosciuszko for a session of Earning my turns. My initial plan was to Snowshoe hike out from Thredbo to Mt Kosciuszko for a few turns down there. Then head back around through North Ramshead and Aries Tor. Unfortunately, my fitness, or lack of it, meant i had to divert back to the Main track and head back to Thredbo. Maybe next time! Conditions were as good as they get for Spring time. Bluebird day, light winds, overnight freeze and near perfect corn. Despite the average season we've had, the coverage was still very good above roughly 2000m. Some awesome turns were had! Despite the season we've had, i still enjoyed and loved every single minute on snow. Wouldn't have it any other way. It was definitely the perfect way to see out the season.
