East Coast clean up | New Zealand Army

Our soldiers have been hard at work on the East Coast, felling and removing high-risk trees around Hicks Bay and Te Araroa. Using heavy machinery and shovels, personnel have continued clearing silt from culverts and drains throughout Te Araroa to strengthen drainage resilience. Working with civil defence agencies, this preparation and hard work are making a real difference for the community, providing reassurance and improved resilience when it matters most.
