Me and my buddy Jay Fleming decided to do something a little bit crazy and camp out on the frozen ice of the Chesapeake Bay. It was absolutely freezing with wind chills well below zero, but we cooked up some rockfish and crab cakes right there on the ice before hitting the hay. We definitely underestimated the tidal ice because we woke up with a massive crack running directly under our tents! It was a wild night, but I'm just glad we didn't end up taking an unexpected swim.
