Gizmo goes home!

This mornings a call came in about this boy who was on the ground for some time then seen eating pine needles. Eating pine needles is unusual behaviour for a koala so of course he was brought in and taken to the Adelaide and Koala Wildlife Centre for a thorough check up. Extensive tests gave Gizmo (as he was named) a clean bill of health, he must just like pine needles! So once he was wide awake he was taken back to where he was picked up from and released back to the wild and told that he was a koala and meant to eat eucalyptus leaves not pine needles. Not sure he will listen but hey there is nothing wrong with being different.
