Description

*originally recorded on 2-4-26* Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, an Invensys Rail gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights. Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, an Invensys Rail gate mechanism, and RECO gate lights. After catching the Limestone County siren test on February 2nd, I decided to turn on my scanner and head south towards the NS Memphis East. On my way down, I heard what sounded like 287 working downtown Madison, so I decided to stop at Segers Road to wait for it. After a little while of waiting, I was able to catch my first train of the day: NS 287 departing Madison with an SD70ACC leading an AC44C6M for power! Definitely a great train to begin some railfanning on this day with. Been a while since I last saw an SD70ACC leading as well. Thankfully, nothing has changed to this crossing since I last recorded it. http://www.rxrsignals.com/Alabama/G-Q/Huntsville/Segers/ If you like my videos, feel free to leave me a tip on Ko-Fi!
