Description

Domestic violence. We hear it going on in the apartment or house next door. We see the bruises. And we do nothing -- most of us, anyway. The Global Dialogues (www.globaldialogues.org) film “Eyes on You” is the story of a woman who decides not to be a silent bystander. Produced by our friends at Ideas United (www.ideasunited.com) and directed by a woman of profound compassion and talent, Eliza McNitt (www.elizamcnitt.com), “Eyes on You” stars Laura Pulido as Jasmine and Jade Fernandez as Isabela. This short film is based on ideas submitted in the Global Dialogues story-creating contests by Stéphanie Balmir, age 23, Haiti (Global Dialogues contest Grand Prize winner); Reema Ayesha, age 22, India; Ferufino Molina Ronaldo, age 18, Nicaragua; Steve Mbenoun, age 24, Cameroon; and Yuting Li, age 22, Sichuan, China.
