New Kamuning Footbridge and Busway Station 03/05/2026

EDSA, Quezon City March 5, 2026 Following President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directives to improve pedestrian mobility, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) has opened a new footbridge to replace the old pedestrian bridge along EDSA near Kamuning Road, infamously dubbed ‘Mount Kamuning.’ The new Kamuning Footbridge prioritizes persons with disabilities (PWDs) by installing elevators and wheelchair lifts to improve accessibility, along with tactile paving and well-lit platforms and walkways to enhance safety and security at all times. It also provides direct access to the EDSA Busway station and the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3), offering easier mobility for commuters.
