Description

Information about the Rare Visit to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre on the First Night After the Old City Reopened itself will be provided after this announcement. Due to the current situation and the ongoing war, I haven’t been able to guide tours in person as usual. However, I’m eager to continue sharing the rich and sacred history of the Holy Land through my videos. If you enjoy these journeys and would like to stay connected, I warmly invite you to subscribe to my YouTube channel, where I bring Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, and Israel to life from wherever you are. For more insights and updates, follow me on Facebook and Instagram — I regularly share additional content, stories, and behind-the-scenes moments you won’t want to miss. If you feel inspired to support my work, your generosity helps me keep these videos coming. Whether through a simple subscription, sharing with friends interested in Israel’s history, or by supporting me directly, every bit makes a difference. I also offer a personal touch: upon your request, I would be honored to pray for you at the Western Wall, light a candle in your name at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, or anywhere meaningful in the Holy Land. If you have any special personal requests, please reach out — I’m happy to respond and even create a dedicated video for you. Thank you so much for joining me on this journey. Unfortunately, due to concerns that the city might still be vulnerable to Iranian missile attacks, the Old City was closed to visitors for a while. My visit to the church took place literally on its first night open to the public again. Because of the war, the few remaining tourists had disappeared leaving the sacred site almost empty. I had many mixed feelings about entering. There was a profound reverence for the holy place the silence that fills the spot where Jesus was crucified the small number of people present and even the priest who is often strict with tourists all combined to make me feel as if I was stepping into a mysterious almost otherworldly space. The atmosphere reminded me of the moments when Jesus was believed to be inside the tomb an eerie stillness a sacred pause. The Church of the Holy Sepulchre itself holds deep significance for Christians worldwide. It is traditionally considered the site of both the crucifixion and the resurrection of Jesus Christ making it one of the most important pilgrimage destinations. Within its ancient walls lie chapels and shrines maintained by various Christian denominations each adding layers to its rich history and spiritual significance. Visiting under these extraordinary circumstances gave me a rare intimate experience of the church’s sacredness and history one that few get to witness.
