Journalist and author Tom Mitchelson didn’t have a typical childhood. He had a difficult relationship with his father, who he describes as cruel with a “volcanic rage", and his triplet sisters, who lived on the top floor, often felt like "ghosts" to him. Insight host Kumi Taguchi sat down with Tom to discuss his upbringing, the persistent feeling of "separation" from his sisters, and how revisiting his past helped him reconnect with them later in life.
