Israeli settlers set Palestinian car on fire

“Tonight I won’t sleep. I swear I’ll stay sitting by the window, thinking: ‘Now they’ll come from here,’ or ‘they’ll appear from there.’” Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian home early Sunday morning in Surif, near Hebron in the occupied West Bank, setting the family’s car on fire and spraying the word “revenge” in Hebrew on the walls. Settler violence has escalated since the 7 October 2023 attack on Israel, with the UN reporting 760 settler attacks in the West Bank and East Jerusalem so far this year.
