Description

We’ve been doing this for the last few years on our horses and I’d say we’re pretty close to a 70% prediction rate of it being accurate So this is our 2026 prediction This is how you can try this at home with your own mare We’ve over the years used a regular nail and this year we’re using a horse shoe nail Pull a single hair from your horse’s tail Tie a simple knot onto the head of the nail Lay the nail flat on your horses back Have clear intentions when asking the question Is this foal a colt or a filly? Then carefully and slowly raise the nail directly into the air by holding the horse hair Wait And the nail will move by itself If it starts circling, it’s a filly Effort starts going back-and-forth in a straight line hits a colt If you try this at home on your own horse, we would love to hear back how accurate it has been for you Let us know in the comments 👇 Do you think she’s carrying a colt or a filly? 🐎 Candice & Jordan Camille’s Horses 👉 Like, comment, and subscribe for more horse life, breeding, training, and horsemanship.
