MASSIVE SPOILERS AHEAD This is an Invincible Season 4 Episode 7 review primarily focusing on Invincible, Thragg, and Omni-Man. IGNORE WHATS BELOW THE SOCIALS Follow my socials: Twitter: https://x.com/helphundreds Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/burnearth/ Every single time a new season of Invincible comes around, most people tend to see Mark’s performance as a hero and combatant throughout the season and complain about him either being weak, holding back, all sorts of stuff; but usually, the season finale always comes around and reminds us of just how powerful Mark truly is; as he’s always put in a situation that forces him to completely cut loose and show us what he’s truly capable of; but a question I always ask myself at the end of a big moment of Mark is, did he finally surpass Omni-Man for good? As in, could Mark from the end of Season 4, the same one we see after the completion of the Viltrumite War and send him back in time to face his father once again back in Season 1 in order to see if he could actually beat him? Well, in this video I’m going to try and answer that question by attempting to go through the story and Mark’s biggest moments in order to find out the definitive moment that he surpassed his father in strength. With that said, if you enjoy content such as this, don’t forget to leave a like & subscribe and now, let’s get into it. And before we even get into the actual comparisons, I think it’s important to understand just how high of a bar Omni-Man actually is. Nolan isn’t just strong, he’s one of the most efficient and experienced fighters in the entire series, someone who doesn’t waste movement, doesn’t hesitate, and doesn’t hold back unless he absolutely has to. So for Mark to surpass him, it’s not just about hitting harder, it’s about being able to actually compete with that level of experience, durability, and killer instinct all at once, which is something that takes far more than just raw growth. So to begin this video, I think the best way to start is to eliminate all of the moments on Mark’s timeline that show us that Mark wasn’t close to Nolan’s strength yet. Season 1 obviously shows us that Mark was nowhere close to his father in terms of strength because they would have an extremely long, one-sided battle of Nolan ragdolling Mark across the entire planet without sustaining a single scratch. The difference in power is too massive here, and it’s not just the fact that Nolan wins, it’s how he wins. There’s no real moment in that fight where it feels like Mark could turn things around, no back and forth, no real resistance that matters. Nolan is controlling the entire fight from start to finish, and even when Mark is giving everything he has, it doesn’t amount to anything meaningful. That kind of gap isn’t something you close overnight, it’s something that takes multiple arcs of growth to even begin to touch. and the same thing applies to Mark by the end of Season 2; as when we see him and Nolan team up to fight against the viltrumites, Nolan is able to have the edge against two of them, and really just performing amazingly well; while he’s shown having to keep an eye on Mark as Mark was struggling heavily with just one of them, in fact; Mark had to completely cut loose just to even keep up. Not only this, but Anissa, who’s more than likely a little weaker than Nolan curb-stomped Mark in this season which again shows us that while Mark is growing, he’s still not operating on that upper tier of Viltrumites yet. Nolan is fighting like someone who belongs there, while Mark is still trying to prove that he does. There’s a clear difference between surviving these fights and actually dominating them, and Nolan consistently shows that he can dominate, while Mark at this point is still barely hanging on. art/coloring credits : https://www.instagram.com/andrewhuerta93?igsh=cXNsYXVpbTQwOG41 https://x.com/j2x3e3 https://x.com/ddukae https://www.reddit.com/user/Demetria20/ https://www.reddit.com/user/kel584/ https://x.com/112oVic2 https://www.reddit.com/user/Itachi2974/ https://www.reddit.com/user/Mamon_Ramon/ https://in.pinterest.com/badbeat115/ #invincible #invincibleseason3 #conquest #thragg
