Yo what’s up everybody, welcome back 🙂 Today I’m trying out this brand new indie horror game on Steam called Unseen. I barely knew what I was signing up for — just read the “psychological thriller / horror” tag and thought “why not?” But damn… this game is built to mess with your head in the best way possible.
Unseen casts you as a guy who — after a hellish shift — ends up stuck for the night somewhere you didn’t plan on being. And what seemed like just a boring overnight stay slowly turns into one of the creepiest ghost-stories I’ve experienced in a game. The vibe is moody, confusing, and full of dread. It’s not about loud jump-scares or cheap scares: it’s about walking through empty rooms, hearing distant creaks, seeing weird lights flicker, and feeling like you’re being watched. Everything about the visuals and atmosphere hits just right.
The gameplay is super stripped-down — mostly first-person walking, exploring a space, solving little puzzles, just absorbing the creepy air. No gunfights, no action — the fear comes from silence, from what you imagine, and from that sinking feeling you get when something just doesn’t seem right.
If you’re into horror games that rely on tension, atmosphere, and psychological terror — be prepared. Unseen isn’t blazing action; it’s slow-burn dread. And honestly that might be what makes it scarier. The kind that gets under your skin.
I’m not gonna lie — there were moments in this playthrough where I literally froze. The lights would flicker… the ambient noise would shift… and I’d be like, “did something just move?” Sometimes it’s not about what you see — it’s about what you feel. And Unseen nails that “I’m not alone in this room” feeling harder than most games I’ve played.
So if you like horror, haunted vibes, indie games that don’t hold your hand, or just want to see me try (and maybe fail) at keeping my cool — this video’s for you. Let’s get into the darkness, walk those halls, and see what Unseen has waiting.
Thanks for watching, and if this scares you even half as much as it scared me — you already know what to do ;)
