Hi friends! This week, I’m taking you with me to Taiwan, my hometown, my comfort zone, and the place where some of my sweetest memories live. We started our journey with a visit to my dad’s hometown, Nantou. From eating at the noodle shop he loved as a kid, to walking through the spots he used to take us to on weekends, everything felt familiar in the most comforting way. We also visited Sun Moon Lake, one of the most peaceful places I’ve ever been. Another highlight was a little staycation in Wulai with my grandparents. This quiet mountain town is just an hour outside of Taipei and known for its hot springs, Indigenous culture, and cozy food spots. From charcoal-roasted chicken at a local favorite, to wild boar sausage and grilled mochi, it was the perfect way to slow down and just enjoy being together.
