Woodturning - An Awkward burl on a Birch log ..

This Silver Birch log had a couple of burls on it but they were at a bit of an angle and were quite prominent. I was convinced if I just turned this into a vase or a bowl I would turn away most of the burls so I decided to turn a couple of Torus's. I followed the angle of the burl to cut the blanks so I hopefully wouldn't waste too much, I then used the smaller burl offcut to make a couple of stands..
